Soccer predictions for this week

Leicester City hosts West Ham United at the King Power Stadium in a game from the 24th round of the Premier League. That’s our soccer predictions for this week.

It doesn’t look like a perfect moment for Leicester City. The Foxes are having an incredible season so far, but they lost their last two games in the league against Southampton and Burnley. Despite of this, Leicester remain at third place in the standings with 45 points and in a very good position to chase a return to the Champions League for the next season.

Clearly Leicester are not happy with their results in the last two games, but on Wednesday they will have an excellent chance to get back in shape. The manager Brendan Rodgers admitted that it’s what he likes to see as results, but the team will try to improve.

Against West Ham the Foxes can’t use Daniel Amartey, Matthew James and Wilfred Ndidi, who are all injured. Rodgers will have to pick his team without them.

West Ham United have won just one of their last five games in the Premier League – against Bournemouth. In these matches the Hammers also lost three times, which is the reason why they can’t really move up in the table. At this moment West Ham are 16th in the standings with 23 points, just one point above the relegation zone. The club’s main goal this season is going to be avoiding relegation. This is why David Moyes was appointed and Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.

In the previous round West Ham hosted Everton in London, their efforts led only to a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium. The French centre back Issa Diop opened the score for Moyes’ team, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised for Everton.

These are our soccer predictions for this week for the match between Leicester City and West Ham United on Wednesday. Can Leicester return to winning form? Let’s see.
