Juventus hosts Milan at the Allianz Stadium in a second leg in the Coppa Italia
Juventus hosts Milan at the Allianz Stadium in a second leg between these two giants in the Coppa Italia 1/2-finals. The first game in Milan ended with a 1-1 draw, which gives Juve some solid ground to step on. We will preview this match for you in our soccer matches tomorrow.
It was a very good first game at the San Siro in the middle of February. Ante Rebic opened the score for the Rossoneri, but Juventus equalised with a late penalty kick goal from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 91th minute. Milan must feel regretful about this result because they were pretty close to winning this match. But they still have their chances for the second leg, of course.
Milan’s manager Stefano Pioli can’t use the French left back Theo Hernandez for this game. Real Madrid’s former ace got sent off in the first game, recieving a second yellow card in the 71th minute.
Milan’s overall form needs improvement. The Rossoneri won just one of their last five games in all competitions – against Torino in the Serie A. Last weekend Milan didn’t play because their match got postponed due to the coronavirus danger.
Juventus also didn’t have a game in the Serie A last week, but they had a match in the Champions League and it didn’t end well. The Bianconeri traveled to France to face Olympique Lyonnais and suffered a 0-1 defeat at the Groupama Stadium. During halftime Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala complained about the midfield service they were getting, so now everyone will watch the way Juve’s midfielders are going to perform.
That’s our soccer matches tomorrow for the Coppa Italia 1/2-final leg between Juventus and Milan. The Bianconeri are having an away goal advantage after the first game, but it could be easily erased. We think Milan will fight with everything they have here, but Juventus remain favourites.
